To all of our supporters,

The sailing team is extraordinarily grateful for all you have done to help us reach our goal.  With your assistance, the UCSB Sailing Team will be the second team west of the Mississippi to have a fleet of Z420's!  These boats are being used at the national championship every year and it will give our team a strategic advantage to be able to practice in them regularly.  We hope to repeat this campaign in the fall of 2019 when we will be purchasing six total used Z420's.  Each boat purchased this year will have '2018 North-South' printed on it so you know which boat you helped purchase.  

As many of you know the UCSB Sailing Team went on to win the Fall Conference Championship in both coed and women's.  In fact, the team won every single in conference event this fall.  The coed team finished the season ranked 21st in the country while the women's team was ranked 25th.  Take pride in the fact we all did this as a team together and you are just as much a part of this team as the student athletes sailing these events.  

We are humbled by the response or our friends and alumni, many of whom were giving their very first donation during this campaign. Every single one of these gifts meant so much to us and please know how genuinely grateful we are!
