The annual End Of Year Show (EoYS) is a graduate-run, peer-reviewed, open-access exhibition from the Media Arts and Technology (MAT) Graduate Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Your support will help us take this show on the road.
This year’s EoYS “Invisible Machine” exhibition featured art, science and technology installations, demonstrations, performances, and concerts by over 50 students, researchers and faculty from the MAT department, AlloSphere Research Facility, Experimental Visualization Lab, Four Eyes Lab, MIRAGE Lab, RE Touch Lab, Systemics Lab, and transLAB in Elings Hall (California NanoSystems Institute) and the Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science, and Technology (SBCAST).
With donations from our community, MAT scholars will be able to exhibit multidisciplinary research to acclaimed industry conferences and cultural institutes worldwide.
Potential venues for the Invisible Machine tour include but are not limited to:
SBCAST Santa Barbara Center for Arts Science and Technology
Ars Electronica Festival
SIGGRAPH Conference
IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
Brewery Artwalk Los Angeles
Night on Broadway Los Angeles
Museum of Modern Art
Los Angeles County Museum of Art
We also plan to publish a catalog documenting the show, along with all exhibited works and performances, published research papers, abstracts, artist and research statements, and exhibitor profiles for each project.
Funding from this campaign will go towards the following details:
Travel logistics
Show tour production costs
Invisible Machine Exhibition catalog design, development and publication
On behalf of our community who benefit from your support, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude!
