UCSB Senior Class Gift

Help support the A.S. Food Bank, DONATE TODAY!

We've Raised $2,312.02 from 43 donors!

As you prepare to graduate from UCSB, you are feeling a sense of pride for accomplishing a major milestone in your life.  All the classes, the late nights of studying, the projects, the papers, have led to this moment. It is a nostalgic time: from remembering your first campus tour, to meeting new roommates, to discovering the Isla Vista community, and making friends you will have for a lifetime.  As student leaders for UCSB First - a student organization that loves UCSB and promotes a culture of philanthropy - we have so much to be grateful for and know you do too.

We are especially grateful for the traditions and legacies made possible by previous senior class gifts.  The 24 Hour Study room at the library, Student Safety programs, and Alumni Scholarship funds, have all been enhanced by philanthropy from previous classes and now it is OUR turn to do the same.

This year, the Class of 2017 Senior Class Gift will help current and future Gauchos by supporting the Associated Student Food Bank.  Your donation ensures that all Gauchos have access to a full and well-balanced meal and not have to make the choice between rent or dinner.

Why is the AS Food Bank Important?

  • 42% of UCSB students struggle with food insecurity.

  • The AS Food Bank on campus has over 1,500 student visits per week.

  • 300 Gauchos visit the AS Food Bank PER DAY at their facility in the UCen.

By donating today and being part of the Class of 2017 legacy, you can help make the UCSB campus better than when you arrived, and that is the true legacy of a Gaucho.
